Hello. How have you been? I can’t believe that May is ending and June is starting tomorrow morning.  How did this happen?   I love this time of year.  After a long cold winter here in the East, everyone, especially me, seems to come alive when the sun comes out.  We had a few cold, raw days last week with rain and then the sun came out yesterday and your mood just lifts.  Does this happen to you?

I played golf yesterday for the first time in several months and realized that I need to get out more and get rid of the winter stagnet that had set in.  I also love to walk the beach near where I live.  The Clam Shop that’s been closed for the winter is open again and there are kids in the playground.  Nothing nicer than walking the beach and picking up a small plate of fresh fish to eat on the wall or sit at a table over looking the ocean or even bring home.  A taste of summer.

So, what do you need or like to do once spring has arrived and summer is a few weeks away?  Post a comment and let me know how you shake off the winter.

As soon as the warmer weather arrives (and it can’t come soon enough for me), I love sitting on my deck in the evening after work and as much as possible on the weekends. We have a water fountain surrounded by pots of flowers and a chiminea for cool evenings. I enjoy reading, listening to a ballgame or just sitting with a glass of wine admiring nature in its summer glory. The past two years we’ve been fortunate enough to attract hummingbirds to the feeders and I never tire of watching them. Summer just seems to go way too fast…
